Wednesday was a GREAT DAY!!!! Island Def Jam’s Spring Collection Event was inspiring in soooooooo many ways. The first way was as an event planner. Usually when I think of an IDJ showcase I think of venue and open bar, but this event was an experience and that’s what I look to achieve with my events as well. The color scheme was green and white. Once I got over the venue and decor and set up (BTW Im still not over it) the music and love for the artist really took it up a notch. I am more excited than ever before to be apart of the Island Def Jam Family. I remember when I was younger I would always pay attention to detail. Since I was 8 years old and every time a music video came on I would always look at who directed it and what label the artist was on. Majority of the hottest songs came out of Def Jam. I always dreamed of being apart of this company and I just want to be a great asset and work with great people. As Kanye would say “ITS AMAZING”.

I love getting things that I want done, DONE! For the longest I wanted a Flip Cam and today I bought one from BEST BUY. I dropped $200 on it so it better be dope. I got the Ultra HD version in Black, but I am definitely going to Skit It with my business card! Its all about branding people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look out for “Flip 4 Me” videos coming soon!

Check out this “RAW” Session with Jeremih, last time I did a Raw Session I left at 2am and was 2 hours late to work the next morning…lol. But I heart Jeremih he is so sweet and I am very grateful that I was in his showcase when he performed for LA and was signed to the label. GO HARD TODAYYYYYYY, CAN’T WORRY ABOUT THE PAST CUZ THAT WAS YESTERDAY!!!!
Wednesday was my homies Mook Diamond and Tone’s Birthday Party at Prime Nightclub. It was very packed but I guess they bring the crowds out. I saw my homie Darren from Chosen Royalty, My homie from Queens Melissa and to my surprise Mr. Birthday Sex himself Jeremih came with his cousin Willy from Day 26 (After I asked Jeremih was he going out that night and he told me no, he’s not a party guy). After around 2:30 I was so over it, the over packed VIP area and cigarette smell and nasty weaves. Shout out to Pooh for driving me home! Lord knows I didn’t wanna drop 40 on that cab ride home.

So, bad day in the office equals early departure,I didn’t want to go home so I decided to go out with Dwight and Tameeka to the LTD Magazine Listening Party for DJ Neil Armstrong’s latest Mixtape “Sweet 2″. As an event planner I have to force myself to attend these events. I never know who I might meet and it also introduces me to a new venue, set up, sponsors, so non the less I went for work. It was sponosred by AMPUP Energy Drink, the decor was pretty cool, the walls in the venue featured pictures of DJ NEIL ARMSTRONG and his famous client JAY-Z. The decor also included LTD T-Shirts, had fun but was over after 30 mins.
I don’t remember when this was but Terrance J had a mediocre Birthday Party at Retreat recently. I was originally wasn’t going to go, but then my homie Julito (The Wire) was going so I had someone to chill with, fine. I got there around 12pm, it was raining outside but it didn’t take long to get in. The party was a casino royal theme but it looked very weak to me. D-Woods from Danity Kane sang Happy Birthday and other guest included Pleasure P, and Day 26. Once the party ended at 2am everyone headed over to Club One. I shot over to Club One with my homies Clarence and Walik, Club One was popping but we were over it and dipped out after about 40mins. The cool thing about it was that I got to chill with my homie Que from Day 26. He was so far gone, he couldn’t even pop his bottle, best believe I popped it for him, Que, myself and Clarence then enjoy Vueve out of cups….The taste is different from drinking it from a champagne glass.
Last Saturday night I went out to celebrate Tavon, Briana, Tricia and Eddie’s Birthday! It was a lot of fun, the best thing about it was the venue. Volstead is a nice intamate lounge which was really nice and the music was great. Eddie got twisted but it was okay because it was his birthday! Def felt the love and energy in the room.
